Philip H. Hagemann Event Center

Notice is hereby given that the City of Mt. Vernon will receive sealed bid proposals at the City of Mt. Vernon City Hall Building, 520 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, Indiana, for the furnishing of all materials and labor for the City of Mt. Vernon Philip H. Hagemann Event Center Project. Bids will be opened and read publicly after bids are received.

Project Description: New construction of a 27,445 square foot building, 19,256 square feet of which is an Event Center and the remaining 8,189 sq. ft. is a build-out space for Youth Services. The Event Center has an 8,148 sq. ft. Event Hall that can be divided into two smaller Event Halls with a folding partition wall. In addition to the Event Hall, the Event Center will also have offices, conference room, (2) community classrooms, (2) hospitality suites, beverage service, catering kitchen, and support spaces such as restrooms, storage rooms, mechanical and electrical rooms. The Youth Services build-out space will have an office, conference room, three (3) game rooms, and support spaces such as restrooms, storage room, janitor’s closet and IT room. The Event Center will also have a drive under canopy at the main entry. The building is supported by 241 parking spaces.

Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana, 47708 at the Bidder’s cost. No partial sets of Plans and/or Documents will be distributed. If mailing is required, mailing costs shall be paid for by the Bidder. The Bidder shall refer to the Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding procedures and requirements.

There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting at the City of Mt. Vernon City Hall Building located at 520 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, Indiana 47620 on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. Central Time.

Bids will be received until 11:30 A.M. Central Time on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Clerks Office in the City of Mt. Vernon City Hall Building located at 520 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, Indiana 47620.

The bids will be opened and read aloud on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Board of Works Meeting at 9:00 A.M. Central Time, at the City of Mt. Vernon City Hall Building located at 520 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, Indiana 47620.
