RUSSELLVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS CULINARY ARTS RENOVATION

Russellville Independent Schools will receive lump sum, clearly marked, sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc. for the “Russellville Independent Schools, Culinary Arts Renovation, Russellville Kentucky” project. The project includes acceptance of all existing conditions which are to be inspected by all bidders prior to bidding, alternates as defined in the contract documents and all other general construction, mechanical and electrical work specified in the Contract Documents prepared by the Architect, Hawkins Abney, PLLC dated February 3, 2023.

Project consist of the renovation of approximately 3,400 SF to former welding shop at the Russellville Innovation Academy into a new state of the art Culinary Arts lab and classroom. General demolition of various existing interior masonry walls, concrete floor slab, windows, doors, frames, mechanical ductwork, plumbing fixtures, piping, and electrical items and any other items indicated to be demolished in the Construction Documents. New construction consists of constructing new metal stud walls with gypsum wall board, metal stud and gypsum wall board furring, concrete floor slab, doors/frames/hardware, aluminum & hollow metal frame windows, LVT floor covering, porcelain floor tile, acoustical ceiling tiles and grid, interior painting, casework, interior windows, commercial kitchen equipment and exhaust system, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Work includes, but not limited to selective demolition, concrete forming and accessories, concrete reinforcing, cast-in-place concrete, metal fabrications, joint firestopping, joint sealants, steel doors and frames, coiling counter doors, overhead coiling doors, aluminum-framed entrances and storefronts, door hardware, glazing, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board, ceramic tiling, acoustical panel ceiling, resilient base and accessories, resilient tile flooring, stainless steel wall panels and trim, interior painting, room identification panel signage, fire protection cabinets, fire extinguishers, protective covers, plastic laminate clad architectural cabinets, solid surfacing countertops, termite control.

A Pre-Bid Meeting for all bidders will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. local time at Russellville High School, 1101 W. 9th Street, Russellville, Kentucky 42276. All attendees must sign-in at the front lobby then be directed to the meeting room.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Thursday March 13, 2025, at the Russellville Independent Schools Board of Education, located at 355 South Summer Street, Russellville, KY 42276. Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after this time shall not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder. Proposals shall be submitted on the forms contained in the Project Manual and enclosed in a sealed envelope with the following on the outside:

Bid Documents may be obtained from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Russellville Independent Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents are available from Maco-Evansville Blue. Charges to obtain electronic copies must be arranged with Maco-Evansville Blue. No partial sets will be issued.
