The City of Madisonville is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of Fire Station 1 (located at 98 E Center St, Madisonville, KY 42431) concrete parking lot and associated sidewalk, as well as rehabilitation of Franklin Street. The project will consist of demolition of existing concrete/asphalt pavements, concrete pavement/sidewalk installation, subbase installation, storm sewer installation, sediment control and reseeding.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on site at Fire Station 1 (98 E Center St, Madisonville, KY 42431) beginning at 10:00 a.m. local time October 22nd, 2024. All bids shall be submitted no later than 1:00 p.m. local time, October 29th, 2024. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked: “Fire Station 1 and Franklin Street Rehabilitation” in the bottom left corner of the envelope and delivered to:

Proposals must be accompanied by a five percent (5%) Bid Bond. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the Owner with a 100% Performance and Material Payment Bond.
The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof and may waive any informalities or reject any and all bids.
