Owner: Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library.

Architect: MKM architecture + design, 435 E. Brackenridge St., Fort Wayne, IN 46802 (phone: 260-422-0783).

Project Description: Project consists of the interior renovation of the existing library. Work is indicated in the Contract Documents.

Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: General Contract (all trades).

Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Bid Date: March 01, 2024

Bid Time: 3:00 PM, local time (Central Daylight Time).

Location: EVPL Central, 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Evansville, IN 47713 2nd Floor Large Group Room.

Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud on March 01, 2024 at 3:00 PM (CDT) at EVPL Central, 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Evansville, IN 47713 in the Browning Event Room.

PREBID MEETING

Bidders are urged to attend a pre-bid conference at 9:00 AM (CDT) on Thursday, February 08, 2024 at EVPL North Park, 960 Koehler Dr, Evansville, IN 47710 with representatives of the Owner and Design Team present to discuss construction sequence, bidding requirements and information; contractor's work and storage areas; and requirements for contractor's personnel. See Section 002513 "Prebid Meetings" for more information.

Online Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain access after February 02, 2024, by contacting MACO – Evansville Blue, 600 Court St., Evansville, Indiana 47708 at 812-464-8108. Complete digital Project Bidding Documents will be available at www.macoplanroom.com. Once registered, bidders will be able to review documents in person and order printed copies of plans and specifications. Printed documents can be picked up from MACO – Evansville Blue or they can be shipped directly. Bidders are required to pay all printing, shipping, handling, and online fees
