Project Description: This Phase 1 Grading project is to grade to subgrade for the project areas (football field and track, bleacher and concrete walk and apron areas, tennis courts, softball building expansion and detention areas) as depicted on the plans. KPDES required Erosion Control per the plans and as necessary to complete the work is also part of the project scope.

The Work includes, but is not limited to, site preparation, earthwork, dewatering, lawns and grasses, storm sewerage systems and clean-up and removal of construction debris.

Proposals will be received as a Lump Sum Bid(s) for the work indicated in the Bidding Documents.
Proposals will be received until 1:00 PM, prevailing time, on October 19, 2023, at the Metcalfe Board of Education office at 709 West Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY 42129, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

A prebid conference will be held on October 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM, prevailing time, at the Metcalfe County High School, 208 Randolph Street, KY. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting in the back parking lot near the softball metal building.

One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812-464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Dollars for each set of Documents. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Dollars per set, non-refundable. Checks covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Metcalfe County Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with and paid directly to Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.

Electronic copies of the documents are available from Maco/Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, IN. (812-464-8108). Charges to obtain electronic copies are non-refundable and are to be arranged with, and paid directly to, Maco/Evansville Blue.
