The Project name is “CALLOWAY COUNTY SCHOOLS, CALLOWAY COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL, ATHLETIC PROJECTS - 2025”, as shown on Contract Documents prepared by the Architect, RBS Design Group, P.S.C., Owensboro, Kentucky. Drawings and specifications are dated March 15, 2025.
Project Description: Construct six tennis courts, concession stand/toilet building, add concrete pad and sidewalk, and demolish existing building. Provide new secure entrances at Calloway County High School and Middle School.
The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, building demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, asphalt paving, tennis court paving, concrete pavement, pavement joint sealants, tennis court surfacing system, chain link fences, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry assemblies, misc. carpentry, plastic paneling, open cell spray polyurethane foam insulation, metal roof panels, formed metal wall panels, soffits, sheet metal flashing and trim, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, aluminum-framed entrances and storefronts, security transaction windows, door finish hardware, glazing, security glazing, gypsum board assemblies, painting, toilet compartments, signs, fire protection specialties, toilet and bath accessories, food service equipment, sports equipment, outdoor benches, bleachers, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical and clean-up and removal of construction debris.
Proposals will be received as a Lump Sum Bid(s) for the work indicated in the Bidding Documents.
Proposals will be received on April 15, 2025 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, at the Calloway County Schools Board of Education 2110 College Farm Rd., Murray, KY 42071, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
A prebid conference will be held on April 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, at the Calloway County Schools Board of Education, 2110 College Farm Rd., Murray, KY 42071. All bidders should plan on attending this meeting.
One set of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by contractors from Maco-Evansville Blue, 600 Court Street, Evansville, Indiana 47708 (812/464-8108), upon deposit of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250) for each set of Documents. Prime contractors may obtain two (2) sets on deposit, 1 set to mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sitework. Additional sets may be purchased at a cost of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars per set, non-refundable. Check covering deposit shall be made payable to the order of the Calloway County Schools. All mailing charges (non-refundable), if required, are to be arranged in advance with, and paid directly to, Maco-Evansville Blue with a separate check.
